Understand the process before you fund the build.
See how we map the operation, build the real software for one workflow at a fixed price, launch it in a month or less, and expand what works into software you own.
Is custom software actually the right answer?
Not always. We start by mapping the workflow and choosing the one complete part where software would make the clearest difference. If an existing product already solves the workflow well enough, we will say so.
What happens during the free Discovery Call?
It is a focused 30-minute conversation with Jake about how the work happens today, who is involved, and what you want to improve. The goal is to identify the smallest useful next step, not define an entire software system during the call.
Do you start with a prototype?
No. We don’t do prototypes anymore. We map the workflow, lock the scope and price, and build the real production software from day one. You see working progress every week, and your team is using the live system in a month or less.
How much does a build cost?
Company software typically runs $15K–$45K, and personal apps start at $5K. The fixed price is set after we map the workflow and reflects the locked integrations, roles, data, and completion criteria. You know the price before work begins.
How long does a build take?
A month or less to launch. The proposal states the schedule and completion criteria, and the first release is scoped so the real thing can go live in that window.
How do payments work?
The build is fixed price. 50% is due at kickoff and 50% at completion.
What if the workflow needs to change during the build?
You see working software every week, so changes surface early. Small adjustments inside the agreed scope are part of the build. Larger additions are documented and priced before work proceeds, or saved for the next release.
Do I own what you build?
Yes. Once paid, the client owns the custom code and deliverables, subject to third-party licenses.
What happens after launch?
The build includes 30 days of launch support and in-scope bug fixes. Enhancements are separate. Optional ongoing support is available.
Who will I work with?
Jake leads problem framing, product decisions, and the build. A small trusted team may support the build. There are no account-management layers.
Can you work with our existing tools?
Yes, when the tools have appropriate APIs or integration paths. The Discovery Call and workflow mapping identify what should stay, connect, or be replaced.
Do you build websites?
Only when a website is part of a broader software product or operating system. Lawlor Solutions does not take standalone brochure or marketing website projects.
Do you build super intelligence (SI) software?
SI is used when it has a specific useful job and a responsible fallback. It is not sold as decoration or a standalone transformation package.
Can you sign an NDA or meet compliance requirements?
NDAs are available. Security and compliance requirements are evaluated case by case before commitments are made.
Where do you work?
Lawlor Solutions was founded and is headquartered in Utah. We work remotely with teams throughout the United States, with on-site work available by arrangement.
Build software around your business, not the other way around.
Bring Jake the workflow you want to improve. Together, we'll map how it works, build the real software at a fixed price, and get it live in a month or less, with code you own.
