Questions
Straight answers.
Is Lawlor Solutions based in Utah?
Yes. Lawlor Solutions was founded and is headquartered in Utah. Jake Lawlor leads every project directly, and any specialists who join a build are U.S.-based.
Can we meet in person?
Yes. We meet clients in person along the Wasatch Front, from Ogden and Salt Lake City to Park City, Lehi and Provo, and travel elsewhere in Utah by arrangement. Most day-to-day work happens remotely.
How much does custom software cost?
Company software typically runs $15K–$45K, and personal apps start at $5K. We map the workflow first, then quote the build at a fixed price before work starts. There is no prototype phase: the real software is live in a month or less.
How long does a build take?
A month or less to launch. You see working software every week, and your team is using the live system by the end.
How does payment work?
The build is fixed price: 50% at kickoff and 50% at completion. Larger changes are priced before any extra work starts.
Can it connect to the tools we already use?
Yes, when they have an API or another integration path, such as QuickBooks, Stripe, Google Workspace or your CRM. The free call maps what should stay, connect or be replaced.
What happens after launch?
Every build includes 30 days of launch support and in-scope bug fixes. Ongoing support and new features are optional and quoted first.
Do you only work with Utah companies?
No. We work with teams across the United States. Utah businesses simply get the option to meet face to face.
Who owns the software?
You do. Once paid, you own the custom code and deliverables, subject to third-party licenses. There are no per-seat fees to keep using what we built.
