Who this covers

This policy explains how Lawlor Solutions (“we”) handles information when you visit lawlorsolutions.com, use the free Build Planner, book a Discovery Call, review a quote, work with us as a client, or review software while we build it.

When we build or support software for a client, the client decides what that software collects from its own customers, staff, or members. For that data we act as the client's service provider, follow their instructions and our signed agreement, and the client's own privacy policy governs how it is used.

Information we collect

When you use this website

  • Build Planner: your answers about how your operation works, and, when you request results, your name, email address, the generated Build Plan, and its delivery status.
  • Discovery Call booking: your name, email address, chosen time, and anything you add to the booking form, collected through Cal.com.
  • Quote pages: when you approve a quote, your name, company, email address, the options you selected, any note you add, and a one-way, salted hash of your IP address that we use to prevent abuse. We do not store the IP address itself.
  • Visit statistics: the pages you view, the site or campaign that sent you, how far you read an article, which buttons and links you use, page speed measurements, your device type and browser family, and your country. We count visitors with a one-way hash of your IP address and browser that changes every day, so we can tell visits apart within a day but cannot follow you from one day to the next. We do not store your IP address, use cookies, or build a profile of you for this.
  • Technical data: standard request logs kept by our hosting and security providers, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested.

When you become a client

  • Contact and company details: company name, contact names, email addresses, phone numbers, logo, and brand colors.
  • Project records: quotes and approvals, work items, time entries, monthly reports, recommendations, meeting notes, and the files, designs, and feedback you share with us.
  • Build previews and wireframes: reviewer names, comments, and when a preview or invite code was last used.
  • Access you grant: links to your code repositories and any accounts or credentials you share so we can build, deploy, or support your software.

Inside the software we build for you

Depending on the project, the software we build and help run may store information about your customers, staff, or members. Across our projects this has included account details, profile and uploaded photos, documents and signed waivers or contracts, addresses and location, schedules and time tracking, orders, invoices and payment status, messages, and usage events. Some projects handle sensitive information, such as health and wellness records or details about family members and children. We work with that data only as needed to build, test, deploy, and support the software.

How we use it

  • Respond to inquiries, prepare and hold Discovery Calls, and deliver Build Plans you request.
  • Prepare quotes, record approvals, and plan, build, test, launch, and support client software.
  • Keep accurate project, time, and reporting records for our clients.
  • Understand which pages and sources bring visitors and which pages help them, so we can improve the site.
  • Protect our forms and systems from spam, abuse, and unauthorized access.
  • Meet legal, tax, and contractual obligations.

Service providers

We use a small set of providers to run our business. They process information on our behalf, under their own terms and privacy commitments.

  • Hosting and data: Vercel hosts this website and our internal tools. Supabase provides our database, file storage, and sign-in.
  • Scheduling: Cal.com handles Discovery Call booking, and Google Meet hosts the call.
  • Email: Resend delivers transactional email such as Build Plans, quote approvals, and review digests.
  • Security: Cloudflare Turnstile protects public forms from bots.
  • Code and previews: GitHub stores client code repositories. Private build previews may run on Lawlor Solutions devices and are shared through private, expiring links.
  • Super intelligence (SI): OpenAI powers the Build Planner, and SI coding assistants from OpenAI and Anthropic help us write and review code.

Client software uses the providers the project needs, which may include Supabase, Firebase and Google Cloud, Vercel, Render, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Apple and Google for sign-in and push notifications, Google Maps, and SI or analytics services. We name these providers in your project plan or agreement.

Super intelligence tools

We use super intelligence (SI) to generate Build Plans and to help write, test, and review code. When we work on your project, these tools may read your code, project notes, and sample or staging data. We use these providers' business and API services, which do not use inputs or outputs to train their models by default, though providers may keep limited logs for abuse monitoring.

Please do not enter confidential, regulated, patient, payment, or credential information into the public Build Planner.

Cookies and browser storage

  • The Build Planner saves your answers in your browser's session storage for up to 24 hours so you can pick up where you left off.
  • Quote pages remember the options you selected in your browser's local storage.
  • Insights pages remember whether you chose the light or dark reading theme in your browser's local storage.
  • Cal.com and Cloudflare Turnstile may set their own cookies when their tools load.
  • We measure visits ourselves, without cookies, and the statistics stay in our own database. This website does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics.
  • We skip visit statistics entirely when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. You can also turn them off for one browser by opening any page with ?ls_analytics=off added to the address; we remember that choice in your browser's local storage, and ?ls_analytics=on turns them back on.

Sensitive and client data

Client data stays under the client's control. We access it only to deliver the work, keep it out of public tools, and use staged or sample data for previews wherever we can. Build previews are private and are not meant for live or sensitive production data.

When a project involves health information, children's information, or other regulated data, we handle it under the client's agreement and any additional terms the law requires, such as a business associate agreement.

When we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers above, with your consent, when a client directs us to, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others. If Lawlor Solutions is ever reorganized or sold, information may transfer under this policy.

Retention and deletion

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, our client agreements, or legal and tax obligations.

  • Build Planner answers in your browser expire after 24 hours. A requested plan and its delivery record stay in our systems so we can resend it, until you ask us to delete it.
  • Visit statistics are deleted after 25 months.
  • Client records are kept for the life of the relationship and as required for accounting afterward.
  • When a project ends, we return or delete client data and access as the agreement provides.
  • Emails we send may also remain in your mail system under its own retention settings.

Security

We use encrypted connections, role-based access controls, hashed access tokens, and encrypted storage for credentials and secrets. Access to client data is limited to the people working on that project. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so if we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. We will respond promptly and within any time the law requires, except for records we must keep by law. If your information is in software we built for a client, contact that business first and we will help them respond.

Our website and services are meant for businesses and are not directed to children under 13.
